S Nintendo DS Wireless not working, Help!!!?
i have pokemon emerald and i am trying to trade with a friend who has pokemon ruby, both of us are using DS’s, whenever i go to the wireless trading place in the top of the pokecenter it says my wireless adapter is not connected properly, but i am using a DS, therefor its built it… and here is the kicker, if i put in my pokemon pearl i am able to trade wireless with my friend who is using pokemon diamond… so it definatly ” is connected properly” so to speak, anyone have any ideas on wtf is wrong with it ?

i also sould say that my friend who is using ruby CAN get into the wireless trade room on DS, it does not say ” wireless adaptor not connected properly” for her, but when i try to enter the wireless trade room, it DOES say ” wireless adaptor not connected properly

I have a question about how you connect a wireless router to a computer. So far, I’ve heard that in some cases, the wireless router wirelessly connects to your computer via an adapter of some sort built in inside your computer. Ther OTHER explanation (which is probably MY only option) was that you connect the wireless router via a cable from your PC to the wireless router.

Here’s the thing. I have a wired DSL connection. I want to buy a wireless router, but I’m pretty sure I don’t have that adapter on my PC that can connect to a wireless router, so I’m gonna have to have a cable connecting the wireless router to the PC.

Why do I need a wireless router then if my PC isn’t compatible? Well, I do have other devices that could use some WiFi service, so that’s mostly why I need a wireless router.

So, is there such a thing as a wireless router that can connect to your PC via a cable?
